Full-Time Permanent Position
This position provides front line leadership to ensure a safe and secure aquatic environment for
all users. The incumbent supervises day-to-day operations; performs professional duties to
ensure effective service delivery; and assists in training, scheduling, and appraising lifeguards.
The Pool Supervisor is also responsible for leadership in emergency situations and works with
the Aquatic Services Coordinator to develop initiatives that encourage participation in aquatics in
Lac La Biche County.
Nags Head Ocean Rescue (NHOR) is accepting applications for the position of Ocean Lifeguard.
NHOR is a seasonal lifeguard organization in northeast North Carolina. Nags Head, NC is part of the
barrier islands of the northern Outer Banks, in between the Roanoke Sound to the west, and the Atlantic
Ocean to the east. The area is surrounded by wildlife, historical sites, and is known to have some of the
nicest beaches on the east coast. NHOR covers an area of approximately 11.5 miles of beach. At the
peak season, we operate 15 stationary lifeguard stands and 11 roving patrols, and welcome
approximately 1 million beach goers.
AQUATICS PROGRAM SUPERVISOR
The Canada Games Centre serves the community and the province’s athletes and will
continue to do so for generations to come. As a first class multi-purpose sport and recreation
facility, it provides a new centre for the community promoting healthy and active living for
citizens and a major new sports training and competition facility in Atlantic Canada. The

Under the direction of the Aquatics Program Coordinator this leadership role will be
responsible for daily supervision of staff, planning of programs and daily schedules, and aid in
the development of Aquatic programs for the Canada Games Centre. Additionally this role
performs administrative functions, assists with the delivery of programs, assists with personnel
issues and ensures safety policies and procedures are adhered to. The Aquatics Program
Supervisor will also be responsible for overseeing the swim instructor staff and assisting with
the overall operation of the Swim for Life program.
They will ensure that all safety and teaching guidelines are followed and will conduct regular
evaluations of the swim instructor staff. In addition to a commitment to exceptional customer
service and a positive customer experience, the Aquatics Program Supervisor must be highly
organized, manage time effectively, and complete scheduling tasks in a timely and efficient
