The Nova Scotia Lifeguard Service hires seasonal lifeguards to work from mid-June to the end of August. The minimum requirements are National Lifeguard Certification (any option) and Intermediate Workplace First Aid Certification.
All applicants are required to complete an interview, a multiple-choice test, a 500m swim, a 3.2km run, and a 50m manikin carry.
