We're excited to be back at Stoney Island beach for another great summer! While visiting, please remember to keep all dogs on a leash and pick up after them to help keep our beach clean! Also please keep small children within arms reach while they're in the water! Finally, please keep out of the dunes, they are a protected habitat for Pipping plovers. Thank you for your Cooperation, and please don't hesitate to say hi or ask us questions!

Remember the safest place to swim is between the red and yellow flags! Remember to wear lots of sunscreen and reapply every 2 hours, even when it is cloudy or foggy! Have a great day ! Please keep children within arms reach when swimming!
Please stay out of the dunes. There are piping plovers with nests in the dunes and grassy areas. These birds are endangered and protected. We are very fortunate to be one of few beaches that the piping plovers call home. So please keeps dogs on a leash and stay away from the grass and dunes to help keep the pipping plovers safe!
The dunes are also protected separately from the Pipping plovers. We need the dunes to keep our beach and other wildlife healthy! Driving over, and digging in the dunes is harmful, so please keep out of the grass and off the dunes!
